SUMMARY:Introduction to Quantum Computing (engl.)
DESCRIPTION:The United Nations proclaimed 2025 as the International Year of
  Quantum Science and Technology\, underscoring the recent\, and accelerati
 ng\, expansion of quantum computing. The goal of this course is to give st
 udents an introduction to quantum computing and to equip them with the bas
 ic mathematical and programmatic tools needed to stay informed about its s
 cientific progress. The course will begin with a broad overview of the fie
 ld and its applications. The rest of the morning sessions will focus on a 
 review of basic algebra and on building a basic quantum mechanical termino
 logy. In the afternoon\, students will learn fundamental quantum computing
  concepts and basic quantum algorithms. Later sessions will include a prac
 tical quantum program writing exercise using Quantinuum programming langua
 ges. The course will end with a demonstration of simple problem in computa
 tional chemistry using quantum computing. \n\nLevel 1-3: open to everybody
 \, with or without experience\nRequirements: your own laptop\, prior exper
 ience in python programming\, basic algebra\n\n
