Data Science Fundamentals: From Data to Decisions (engl.)
This course is aimed at female students from all disciplines as well as career switchers and professionals who want to actively engage with data-driven questions and build a solid foundation in data science. Designed for participants with little or no prior experience in data analysis or programming, it combines essential concepts with guided, hands-on data analysis using real-world datasets and accessible tools. The course empowers participants to explore data independently, recognise patterns and limitations, and contribute confidently to data-informed discussions in academic, professional, and societal contexts.

Dr. Kamini Garg
Kamini holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and has over a decade of experience working with multinational organizations including Liberty Global, Sunrise Communications, and Johnson & Johnson.
She is the founder of Visthena, a data science consulting firm that helps businesses grow through analytics, and also provides data science coaching and upskilling services.
Kamini has worked across domains such as marketing, finance, supply chain, and customer care, applying data science and machine learning to solve complex business problems. She has led global, cross-functional projects and is known for clearly communicating insights to stakeholders at all levels. She strongly believes that data science is, at its core, storytelling.
She is passionate about mentoring and knowledge sharing, and regularly works with professionals and students through talks and workshops.
