IF24-T06-Saturday Intro to AI/Machine Learning with Python (engl.)

In this day course, we will kick things off by breaking down the concepts surrounding artificial intelligence and understanding how machine learning (ML) fits into the picture.

After a detailed explanation on how machine learning works, we’ll discuss the different types of machine learning with practical examples and walk through the ML workflow.

We’ll cover traditional ML algorithms, talking about linear regression and tree-based models both in theory and in code.

At the end we’ll talk about deep learning and cover the basics in the context of machine learning algorithms.

This course is designed to make machine learning accessible through a hands-on experience using Python.

Requirements: Basic Python and Pandas skills are an advantage. Bring your own laptop.
