IF24-T02-Wednesday Experience Digital Sustainability in Practice (engl.) – CANCELED
This interactive one-day workshop teaches the basics of IT sustainability. After a short presentation on digital sustainability and an overview of the Web Sustainability Guidelines, we will explore and reflect on various practical methods in small groups: from sustainable design in eCommerce to optimizing the CO2 footprint of websites.
The course is aimed at participants with a background or interest in web development, web design and product management and covers in detail
- Why we need to make our digital products more sustainable
- Introduction to the Web Sustainability Guidelines
- Designing a sustainable customer journey in eCommerce
- Measuring and optimizing the CO2 footprint of real websites
Requirements: Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is an advantage, but not essential. Bring your own laptop.
