Dr. Jessica Mariño ist Softwarearchitektin und wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin in der Abteilung »Virtual Engineering« des Fraunhofer-Instituts für Experimentelles Software Engineering IESE in Kaiserslautern. Sie promovierte an der TU Darmstadt in Maschinenbau, wobei sie sich auf numerische Simulationen multiphysischer Phänomene spezialisierte, insbesondere bei der Wechselwirkung zwischen Strukturen und Mehrphasenströmungen. Sie ist außerdem in der Softwareentwicklung versiert und ist Mitglied des FERAL-Entwicklungsteams am IESE. Ihr Interesse gilt u.a. der Bewältigung komplexer Probleme bei gekoppelten Simulationen.
