Registration

To participate in meccanica feminale, a binding registration via our online form at www.meccanica-feminale.de is required.

Target group meccanica feminale

Female students of all subjects, university types and semesters; prospective students and professionals:

• Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), especially engineering sciences, mechanical and electrical engineering, also female students who have changed their field of study.
• all those interested in STEM subjects
• all those who are considering STEM studies

The courses can be attended by all interested female students and professionals, provided that the respective course requirements are met. If you are interested in engineering content as well as social skills courses among female STEM students and professionals, you are welcome to attend. The Conference Day is aimed at both female participants and the interested public.

The registration deadline is 10.01.2023, after which there will be an allocation of remaining places. Invoices will be sent upon course registration via an automatically generated and sent email containing the invoice details. The invoice confirms the course booking and must be paid immediately after the invoice is issued. Cash payment at check-in is no longer possible.

Course Allocation

The number of participants in the courses is limited and places are allocated according to the time of registration. The minimum number of participants for a course to take place is usually five.

If the minimum number of participants for the booked course is not reached, the Netzwerk F.I.T (network Women.Innovation.Technology) reserves the right to book the participant into one of the alternative courses indicated at the time of registration.

Participation

Participation in the booked courses is only possible after payment of the invoice!

Attendance at all dates is a prerequisite for participation in the courses and the receipt of certificates and, if applicable, credit points (ECTS).

Only the registered and attending person is allowed to participate in the (online) training. Other persons may not be present at the computer during the course in case of an online course. The course and the other programme may not be recorded.

Cancellation

Please inform us immediately in writing of any cancellation of your participation so that we can allocate the places to other interested parties. In case of cancellations up to 4 weeks before the start of the event, the participation fee will be refunded in full. In case of later cancellation, we will have to retain the full participation fee. Please give us your bank details in case of cancellation so that we can refund any fees already paid.

Liability

The organisers accept no liability for any damage to property or personal injury caused by participants or their children. Participation in the event is at your own risk.

Programme Changes

We reserve the right to make changes to the programme. We cannot guarantee that the lecturer will be available and will organise a substitute lecturer if necessary. Please refer to our website for the current programme: www.meccanica-feminale.de.

Certificates of Attendance

Certificates of participation will be issued by the Network Women.Innovation.Technology in cooperation with Furtwangen University of Applied Sciences upon fulfilment of the specific performance requirements of the respective courses. The additional awarding of credit points (ECTS), if applicable, depends on the announcement in the course programme. The recognition of the participation certificates as well as the credit points is carried out by the respective course management at the home university and must be organised/ checked by the participants themselves. At most universities, it is most desirable to make arrangements with the course director in advance of the meccanica feminale. The requirements for the participants are set by the lecturers within the framework of the generally accepted scope of performance. Grading is only possible upon prior request and agreement with the lecturer and cannot be demanded retroactively.

Picture Rights/ Publications

The Netzwerk Frauen.Innovation.Technik Baden-Wurttemberg reserves the right to take photographs (or screenshots) during the event or to commission persons to do so. Participants declare their consent to the taking of photographs of themselves during the event and to the use and publication of such images for the purpose of public reporting on the events. If a participant does not agree to the publication of screenshots in which she can be recognised, we ask for written notification before the event by email to netzwerk-fit@hs-furtwangen.de.

Data Protection

The data collected in the online registration form will be used for organisational purposes only. We reserve the right to send email addresses to the lecturers for course preparation and follow-up purposes. If you do not wish this, please inform us by email to meccanica@hs-furtwangen.de.
