Compensation for lecturers
Company representatives can offer their teaching activities as part of a sponsorship, please contact us for more information.
If your course takes place, you will receive a teaching assignement of Furtwangen University. If you work as a part-time lecturer for our event, the remuneration is exempt from tax and social security contributions up to €3,000.00 per year within the framework of the lump-sum allowance for training supervisors .
Any travelling and accommodation expenses incurred will be reimbursed in accordance with the Landesreisekostengesetz Baden-Württemberg (LRKG BW).
We offer free childcareduring the event if required. Simply contact us if you are interested.
If you organise your course as a lecture and a student at Furtwangen University earns a graded ECTS point, you can also be reimbursed for the assessment of the examination .
PhD student session
Here you can exchange ideas with other female doctoral students. You have time and space to give each other professional tips. But it's also about the difficulties you face when doing a doctorate and about empowering you.
A female engineer with a doctorate will moderate the session and share her experiences with you.
- For female doctoral students from the fields of electrical/ mechanical engineering, or engineering sciences.
- Presentation of your own research, followed by feedback from the other participants
- Mutual support and exchange of your experiences
- Expense allowance & reimbursement of travel expenses

Programme commitee
The programme committee decides on the acceptance of the contributions.. It consists of the network F.I.T, professors from the participating universities, a student representative and alternating guest members from industry or research. Following the meeting, all applicants will be informed of the acceptance or rejection of their contributions by email.
